Bio

Aditya (Adi) first started playing rugby for the University of Illinois Men’s Rugby team in Champaign in 2017 and graduated in 2019, after captaining the B-side and the winning the Illinois Rugby Spirit Award.

After moving to Chicago in 2021, Adi joined Lincoln Park Rugby Football Club to continue playing 15s beyond the collegiate level. He currently plays scrum-half for the club. 

Adi began coaching with the Lions in 2024 and currently coaches the rookies (ages 3 - 9).
